Catherine Chan

GWC Honorary Co-Founder

Catherine has many years of program and project management experience in various multicultural positions in tertiary education and community service. An enthusiastic cultural ambassador, she has footprints on five continents and enjoys to connect different people and different stories from around the world. Apart from GWC, she was the first chair-lady of Shan Power Association for 8 years, which provides community service on youth development in HK and China.

Catherine holds a BBA Degree from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, and a Master Degree from the University of Technology, Sydney – both with a major in Human Resource.

Being a Gen X and growing up in a traditional Chinese community, Catherine really believes in the prime role of women in society and the ability of women to transform themselves and others around them. She enjoys exploring the journey for women by women.

KRISTEN SEGURA GALLO 

GWC Honorary Co-Founder

Kristen has 12 years of experience in the Telecom industry working in Fortune 500 companies for the Latin America Region. Her background includes marketing, advertising and sales positions for different cell phone manufacturers including Motorola.

One of her passions is showing the best of Mexico to the international community and is currently developing a brand of Mezcal (traditional agave distilled spirit) to launch internationally and help local communities in the Mexican state of Oaxaca.


QUIN SQ THONG

GWC Honorary Patron
Managing Director Asia, Wilmington PLC 

Describes self as a doer who is learning to dream. A Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of finance, business and strategy management, she has served as regional CFO/COO for multinationals, beginning her accounting career with PriceWaterhousecoopers.

Apart from her day job as Managing Director Asia of a UK public listed corporation, she enjoys spending her spare time to teach financial literacy programs to women and children. This has led her to set up a social enterprise ANA by KARMA, with a mission to help illiterate under-privileged artisan weavers in Bhutan to become financially independent.

Quin also authored a children’s book “The Art of Wealth Management” published by Oxford University Press as part of the financial literacy empowerment programs.
